A mutt from the states, Kath fidler was born in West Virginia, and raised in the Berkshires and northwest NJ respectively. She received her BFA in Illustration with a minor in Music Industry from Syracuse University in 2008 and her MA in Art Therapy from New York University's Steinhardt School in 2010. Her love of the arts came at ayoung age when she started drawing anotomically correct (and confused) potato people, and of course, pink flamingoes on skateboards. She passionately pursued art and music because that is where she felt most at home; and she clearly didn't inherit the math and science wizardry that her brother had.
Today, Kath lives in Brooklyn and is looking to continue her practice in Art Therapy with a geriatric population, while still illustrating, designing, taking photos, and playing her instruments. For more on the immediate, check out her blog.
